Shirley Porter, MEd, RSW, CCC, is a registered psychotherapist who has been providing trauma counselling for almost 30 years. She currently works in the counselling department at Fanshawe College and is an adjunct clinical professor at Western University. She is also a contributing writer for ChoosingTherapy.com. She lives in London, Ontario Canada.
